HART Security has developed the first corporate security management system to gain the new ISO/PAS 28000:2005 international standard. HART Security developed the system for leading marine terminal operator DP World. The ISO/PAS 28000:2005 certificate was presented by a member of Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to DP World CEO Mohammed Sharaf at a ceremony in Dubai this week.

HART Security provided expert consultancy to DP World in the development of the corporate security management system and assisted with the implementation of the system both at DP World's head office in Dubai and its container port in Djibouti.

Lord Richard Westbury, Chairman of HART Security, comments: "HART has been privileged to work for the last year in a strategic partnership with DP World, whose top level management has been totally committed to improving security and achieving an internationally recognised security management system. In a changing legislative and regulatory environment, DP World now has the benefit of consistent security standards in line with strategic objectives, management and leadership verification.
