HART continues to lead the field in Hostile Environment Security Training (HEST)

HART trains MEPs in Strasbourg

HART are in Strasbourg today lecturing international members of the European Parliament on the importance of personal and group security for their forthcoming trip to Afghanistan.

Among the group are six MEP's who will be visiting delegates in Afghanistan. The EP Delegation for relations with Afghanistan, constituted on 11 April 2007, is made up of 14 members and 9 substitutes. Its objective is to deepen the understanding of the political situation in the view of the first parliamentary elections, held on 18 September 2005. With that occasion, an elections observation mission of the European Parliament was sent to Kabul.

In today's more complex world, it is important for us to be aware of the local situation, possible threats, cultural issues, health risks, and an overall understanding of how to reduce likelihood of potential harm or danger. This training is hugely relevant to high profile organisations such as the European Parliament, their important delegates and their families.
